Hi and thanks for stopping by to learn more about me; (Nancy Gathecha) a Kenyan, born and raised in Africa, and currently based in Europe. When I was young, I wanted to be an air hostess, a nurse or fashion designer. I studied design, moved to Germany and worked in the fashion industry as a sales rep. I left employment due to a back injury and after recovering followed my passion for reading and opened a physical bookshop in Germany. A book lovers' bliss is owning a bookshop - for more than five years I was one of my best customers :-)
But with the growth of e-commerce Amazon became a competitor I couldn't keep up with. So armed with an "If you can't beat them join them" attitude, I wrote and published my first book, closed the shop and took my business online in 2007. When the recession hit in 2008 I began freelancing in sales and marketing in addition to my internet business.
Hindsight is 20/20. A few years of working at home in the evenings and freelancing during the day was not sustainable. Feeling burnt out I relocated back to Kenya for a few years. There I started another business and opened a fashion store in Nairobi. In 2014 I became a certified coach and since 2018 I've been consulting on digital marketing, using my own hands-on experience and HubSpot training certifications.
Because I enjoy learning and developing new skill sets, my business continues to evolve to date.

Described by others as a creative change catalyst who sees the big picture and thinks outside the box, I enjoy working with people and digital media. My acquired hands-on marketing experience and soft-skills come from owning off and online businesses as well as working in Germany as a freelancer in the market research and social studies industry. I worked on English and German B2B and B2C projects and referrals are available upon request.
Using my ABC signature system with social media, email and multimedia content, I will show your company how to leverage the internet to attract new audiences and build trust with leads, so they convert prospects to loyal customers and brand ambassadors.
When I'm not consulting on digital marketing, I'm indulging in self-care or following my passion - advocating for personal development over at my lifestyle blog.
